CONSULTFIZ LATAM, a fully owned subsidiary of Confiz LLC is looking for Engineer III - SysOps in India with at least 5+ years of years of professional experience in in infrastructure automation, container orchestration, and cloud technologies. The role involves managing infrastructure as code, deploying containerized applications, and ensuring system security and compliance.Depending upon expertise, strong candidates may additionally be given further responsibilities. Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Automation:
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform / Ansible / Azure Resource Manager.
- Automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure.
Containerization & Orchestration:
- Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using AKS, EKS, and GCP
- Create and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes applications.
Monitoring & Logging:
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high availability and performance of infrastructure and applications.
- Use tools like Prometheus and ELK stack for effective monitoring and alerting.
Collaboration & Support:
- Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Provide support for application deployments and resolve any issues related to infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, or container orchestration.
- Manage incidents, outages, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Provide support (on-call rotation, if applicable) for critical system operations.
- Troubleshoot network, server, and application performance issues.
Security & Compliance:
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards in all DevOps activities.
- Monitor and manage security vulnerabilities, ensuring timely patching and updates.
- Perform risk assessments and implement security best practices.
- Work with development and security teams to enforce compliance and security policies.
System Operations & Infrastructure
- Maintain and optimize cloud and on-premise environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or others).
- Handle system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Automate infrastructure operations using scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.) and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
- Ensure high availability, backups, and disaster recovery strategies.
CI/CD & Automation
- Work closely with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Improve system performance through observability, monitoring, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog).
- Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in SysOps, DevOps, or IT Operations, AWS, Azure, GCP Infrastructure Engineer. (Engineer Level III 6+ years’ experience).
- Proven experience with Ansible, Terraform, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Helm charts.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of development operations, networking, security and automation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong expertise in Linux and Windows administration.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Experience with security tools (Nessus, Qualys, etc.) and vulnerability remediation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
- Knowledge of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and DNS management.
- Experience with log management, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
