Roles & Responsibilities:
The candidate should be self-motivated, creative, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple platforms and architectures, diverse technologies, and lab environments. The individual should strongly understand agile processes and the related QA lifecycle and automation methodology.
Responsibilities:
Software QA Engineer III will craft and build test conditions, test data, and test scripts to address business and technical use cases. They use existing tools and techniques to implement test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation functions. They develop and own the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using Selenium. They design, Implement, and analyze automation test scripts & test results for Desktop and Web applications
Candidate Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s in engineering or master's in computer science with 5+ years of proven experience
Mandatory Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
1) Clear Understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle
2) Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Functional Test Automation development/scripting using Selenium with Java
3) Good development/scripting skills in common languages which are Web-driver compatible languages such as Java, Objective-C, JavaScript with Node.js, PHP, Python, Ruby, C#, or Perl with the Selenium WebDriver API and language-specific client libraries.
4) Proven experience in designing/customizing the Test Automation Framework
5) Hands-on experience with BDD automation frameworks like Cucumber
6) Demonstrated ability using Scrum-based software development methodologies
7) Experience in Test Effort Estimation
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
1) Experience in the adoption of QMS (ISO9001:2015), ISMS (ISO 27001), & GxP
2) Experience with development and testing on one or more mobile platforms is a plus.
3) Experience with quality, code analysis , and configuration tools like SonarQube, Semmle, NetSparker, Qualys, etc
