As a Software engineer working in the new product development group, you will be responsible for a broad range of engineering tasks. Our mission is to deliver to the market highly reliable products for which Emerson is well known and our customers demand.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Analyze system problems and change requests
- Work with users and Business Analysts to help define requirements
- Implement designs by evaluating and developing towards the best solutions an documenting as needed.
- Make programming and other system changes per design
- Test all changes thoroughly via unit and integration testing
- Provide post release support
- Collaborate with developers and other team members
- Keep up with technology by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related/equivalent field.4+ years of relevant experience in programming, Node JS, C#, MS .NET Core
- Angular and/or React development experience with TestNG or similar
- Bootstrap or another CSS framework.
- JavaScript development experience
- Relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server/ PostgreSQL/MySQL)
- Source control of either Team Foundation Server and/or GitHub/Bitbucket
- Docker for containerization
- Strong in analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- MQTT Broker
- Mongo DB additional advantage
- Crafting and consuming REST APIs
- CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bamboo
- Azure Cloud platform ,Devops
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team of developers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, OPC, OPC-UA
