Job Details - Manages day-to-day security, network configuration, network operations over both private and public infrastructure, maintenance and troubleshooting of Security and Network Appliances
- Designs and develops voice, video, radio frequency, and/or data communications networks to ensure success in meeting end user goals and objectives
- Acts as the primary liaison between the service desk and the senior administrators and monitors, maintains, and operates various IT systems
- Contributes to developing solutions on complex infrastructure projects and helps analyze, design, install, configure, and support network infrastructure and application availability and visibility
- Reviews and architectures technology standards around the core network technology portfolio and provides top-notch service and technical support to all users
- Designs, delivers, and supports network services and drives the successful operation, evolution, and support of application networks worldwide
- Researches, analyses, evaluates, and monitors network infrastructure to ensure networks are configured to operate at optimal performance and recommends improvements to network operations and integrated hardware, software, communications etc.
- Prepares and maintains procedures and documentation for network inventory, recording diagnosis and resolution of network faults, enhancements, and modifications to networks, and maintenance instructions
- Prepares reports on network metrics related to the Network/Information Security Strategy Services Requests, monitors network traffic, activity, capacity, and usage to ensure continued integrity and optimal network performance
- Promotes Information Security Strategy Awareness across the enterprise and understands the enterprise's organizational structure and culture to best attain objectives and results
- Provides support to all users and field engineers to resolve hardware issues as well as remote troubleshooting in order to resolve software user issues or other IT issues
- Provides communication and information to others in order to understand technical product issues or operations that impact technical support.
- Implements and manages servers, operating systems, application systems and infrastructure within the scope of activity of the department and provides specialized assistance to their users
- Ensures adherence to the data protection plan and in case of natural disasters, hardware equipment failures, operating mistakes, computer attacks, etc.
- Maintains licenses for owned/purchased software and supervises the information systems and carries out security and confidentiality maintenance parameters of internal data, verification of access logs, detection of possible dysfunctionalities etc.
- Manages the technical documentation and the documentation for the maintenance of the managed systems and performs the management of updates, upgrades, software patches, application systems, as well as infrastructure systems owned by the company
- Maintains contact with manufacturers and distributors of specific IT solutions and collaborates with specialized companies in this regard
- Implements solutions for intrusion detection and notification, security auditing, alerting, and response, virus detection and removal, password complexity enforcement, and media protection
- Analyses metrics to understand performance and efficiency of the installed IT systems and identifies opportunities for continuous improvements

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft IT Certifications e.g. Certified Engineer, Microsoft Certified IT Professional
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Application/Infrastructure/Enterprise Architect Training and Certification, e.g. TOGAF
- Cloud Infrastructure Certification e.g. Azure Solution Architect Expert Certification
- Networking, Network convergence & Network Security & Compliance (CCNA)
- Enterprise IT Certification e.g. CGEIT
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 0-2 years of directly-related or relevant experience, preferably in IT Infrastructure design.
