We are looking for a great software developer who understands the fundamentals of web and is good in Java. Your primary focus will be on working with the architects and engineers in the organization to uplift web applications to use latest backend server technologies impacting millions of customers.
Responsibilities:
- Write code/APIs for Java based application for real time application
- Design, develop, build and manage enterprise platform and frameworks for Process/Case Management
- Deliver technical solutions to problems identified and make architectural recommendations
- Taking your place as a core member of an agile team driving the latest development practices
- Writing code and unit tests, working with API specs and automation
- Identifying opportunities for adopting new technologies
- Collaborate with business users and technical SMEs to analyze, triage, and creatively resource product development and enhancements
- Automate, Optimize & Execute process Improvements on existing processes.
- Provide post-implementation production support for processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline
- 7+ years’ experience working in Java and able to demonstrate good Java knowledge
- Experience in using Sql, NoSQL databases and distributed messaging systems such as Redis, Kafka, Couchbase, Cassandra in the context of low latency and high transaction volume systems.
- 3-4 years working in an Agile development environment
- Solid Understanding of distributed systems
- Proven experience building scalable web application using Java
- Understanding of monitoring technologies including various logging frameworks and tooling.
- Good Understanding of Public Cloud offerings & Microservice architecture.
