We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer with 3 to 4 years of experience in SnapLogic, Mulesoft, and other ETL tools. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of data integration processes. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining systems that extract, transform, and load data from different sources while ensuring high levels of data quality and performance. The Engineer will be part of the Frontend Technologies supporting US/Canada-based applications.
Accountabilities
Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SnapLogic, Mulesoft, and other ETL tools to support data integration needs.
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to analyze data requirements and provide solutions for data extraction and transformation.
Ensure data quality and integrity by developing robust validation and error-checking processes.
Resolve technical issues reported by business users and deliver enhancements as required.
Proactively anticipate project issues; define problems; identify possible causes; work with the team to identify solutions; select and implement the most appropriate solution.
Optimize ETL processes for maximum efficiency and scalability.
Document technical specifications and ETL processes to maintain a knowledge base.
Provide technical support and training to team members and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business teams to understand data requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve ETL and integration issues.
Provide technical support, documentation, and best practices for SnapLogic usage.
Monitor workflows and pipelines for efficiency. Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting for data pipelines.
Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with security policies.
Essential Skills/Experience
Hands-on experience with ETL Technologies (SnapLogic, Mulesoft / IPC).
Strong ETL design and data integration expertise.
Experience with SQL, stored procedures, and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).
Knowledge of JSON, XML, REST, SOAP APIs, and Web Services integration.
Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) and big data technologies (Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, etc.).
Scripting experience in Python, Shell Scripting, or JavaScript (preferred).
Basic knowledge of data science principles and tools like Python, R, or SQL.
Basic knowledge in Informatica platform – Good to have.
Desirable Skills/Experience
Certification in SnapLogic / Mulesoft / AWS.
Experience on SNOW and/or Jira systems.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their application in business.
