Across level from 5-15 Years of Experience in Civil & Structural design (M&M)
Engineer - Civil & Structural with Metal & Mining background to be part of the Engineering team based at Kolkata.
- Work as Civil & Structural Design Engineer in M&M projects.
- Report to Lead Civil & Structural Engineer at Kolkata office or to Lead Center office directly.
- Coordinate with other disciplines, project & lead office for Civil & structural inputs, schedules and related issues
- Prepare / check of Calculations, General Arrangement & Detail Drawings and MTO
- Attend inter-discipline meetings, internal model reviews & model review with Client
- Ensure all deliverables are comply with quality as per Wood / Client specifications & standards
- Review of vendor drawings / other discipline drawings for adequacy of Civil & Structural design input
Skills / Qualifications
- BE / B Tech in Civil Engineering
- Specialist Engineer in Engineering Design & Detailing of Civil & Structural works of Metal & Mining projects with design experience of conveyor gallery, junction houses, production buildings, crusher & screen house, shelters, substation buildings etc., for both structural steel & concrete part.
- Must have worked in STAAD software in Analysis & Design.
- Knowledge of Foundation 3D, Mat 3D, Staad Concrete, Math Cad etc., will be plus point.
- Design of heavy equipment foundation related to M&M for static and dynamic loads (like crusher or screen foundation) will be advantageous.
- Hands on experience on SPR or Naviswork is must
- Experience on preparation of the Design calculation through XL spread sheet will be plus point
