Project Overview:

Digital Delivery Cross Functional Team provides L1, L2, L3 support for Data Integration Platform & Applications.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will provide support to the organization using knowledge of applications, system-level software, user security and general computing applications. You will develop scripts, dashboards, and system processes and identify and resolve technical issues. By providing this support, you directly contribute to enhanced efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business success at Bechtel.  Technical stack includes in-house data integration applications, MONGO/SQL/Oracle databases, EBX, WIN/LINUX servers, etc. Working in Cross Functional team requires collaboration with multiple teams like Engineering/Development, Release & Deployment, DBAs, Technical Services, Network, Security, Storage, Datacenter, XenApp, etc.Team also engages in Reporting & Dashboarding using POWER BI.

Major Responsibilities:

• Provide L1 & L2 support for Data Integration Platform & Applications.
• Configure various Data Exchanges on Legacy as well new Platform as per project requirement.
• Collaborate with Project Admins, Business Stakeholders to understand Data Exchange / Dataflow requirements and provide effective solutions.
• Perform data quality analysis at various stages of data exchange to ensure data integrity and no loss of information.
• Proactively monitor Data Exchanges, Integration Applications.
• Perform User Access Management.
• Coordinate with other IT teams (DBAs, Technical Services, Network, Security, Storage, Datacenter, XenApp, etc.) for quick resolution of reported issues.
• Research and provide solutions for complex problems.
• Participate in Incident & Problem Management, provide Root Cause Analysis on high impact issues.
• Respond to customer needs, questions and concerns in an accurate, effective, and timely manner.
• Create and maintain Knowledge Base articles.
• Perform application upgrades & migrations. Perform off hour maintenance and upgrades if required.
• Gather requirements from Project & Stakeholders and create POWER BI Reports & Dashboards.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Requires a University Hire with less than 1 year of experience or 4-5 years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or related field
• 4 years of IT experience, preferably in Application Support

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Good understanding of SQL/Oracle databases. Proficiency in database queries
• Good understanding of REST APIs and Cloud concepts (Azure preferred)
• Basic understanding of MONGO database
• Basic understanding of WIN & LINUX operating systems
• Basic understanding of Master Data Management, ETL/ELT framework, Data Modelling, Data Governance, Data Quality Management, Data Warehousing
• Basic understanding of Power BI: Reports, Dashboards & DAX
• Basic understanding of tools like: Postman, SSMS, SQL-developer, MongoDB Compass / NoSQLBooster, EBX
• Good understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change) and Agile methodologies.
• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills, trend analysis.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Preferred Certifications: ITIL Foundation, Azure Fundamentals
