The Role: We are seeking an Electrical Hardware Test (V&V) Engineer who will support GKN ePowertrain AWD product development.Essential Qualifications & Experience Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronics or equivalent 4-6 years of experience in Automotive Electronics hardware tetsing and design. Essential Skills & Key responsibilities include: Good experience in board level and product level ECU hardware verification and validation. Board bring up and root cause analysis. Very good experience in defining EOL concepts and creating test specification for ECU tetsing. Coordinate with external test house, EMS (manufacturing plant), SW team on Test requirements. Test automation using python, CAPL or vTestStudio. Analyze test results, evaluate fulfillment of requirements on target hardware testing level and create corresponding test reports. Analyse Defects and Changes. Experience with Vector tools such as CANoe, CANanalyser, VFlash, and vTEST studio. Good experience in CAN bus simulation(RBS) using CANoe. Support test Manager on detailed planning and team coordination. Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. Independent worker who takes the initiative to improve standards and contribute in any waypossibleAdditional Skills (good to have): Good knowledge of automotive development processes including V-Modell, ASPICE and agile methods Good knowledge on Analog or Mixed signal hardware circuits design (microcontroller, power supply, motor drivers). Good knowledge on DV/PV test plans creation based on standards and customer specifications. Experience in lab accreditation-process. Good know how on usage of equipment like CROs, Current probe, Differential voltage probes, analyzers, function generator. Familiar with the AEC Q101, 102, ISO26262, ISO-16750, ISO 11452, ISO 10605, ISO 7637-2, CISPR 16, CISPR25, LV124 and customer specific test standardsTool Skills Vector tools: CANoe,CANalyzer, VFlash, vTEST studio, Labview. Altium Designer: schematics reading and PCB design check. APS IQRM.
