In this vital role you will report to the Sr. Manager Instructional Design Team Lead, with responsibilities for developing and programming learning solutions designed by the GLS Instructional Design team. The eLearning Developer uses a variety of tools and software to create engaging, interactive content that can be accessed remotely, catering to the educational needs of various types of learners. Deliverables include content outlines, design documents, style guides/templates, storyboards, infographics, workshop materials, performance support tools, and eLearning modules. The eLearning Developer ensures learning content is produced effectively, efficiently, and in line with the priorities identified by functional governance.Design and create engaging e-learning course content using authoring toolsCollaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to transform course content and ensure accuracyUtilize multimedia technology and authoring tools to create innovative and engaging e-learning contentConduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contextsApply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning processCreate supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)Maintain project documentation and course foldersConduct quality assurance reviews on courses and implement improvements as needed Implementing assessment tools to measure training effectivenessEnsuring e-learning programs are compatible with various devices and platformsTesting and revising e-learning courses based on feedback and assessment resultsMaintaining and updating existing e-learning coursesStaying updated with the latest e-learning technologies and strategiesWhat we expect of youWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.Basic Qualifications:Master’s Degree or Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Training & Development experience ORAssociate degree and 6 years of Training & Development experience ORMinimum of 8+ years as a eLearning Developer or Instructional Designer supporting a multinational organizationMust-Have Skills :Experience with eLearning authoring tools and instructional technology (i.e. Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Creative Suite, Vyond, etc.)Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design modelsExperience with learning management systems and e-learning platformsFamiliar with different programming languages, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Preferred Qualifications:Good-to-Have Skills:Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scriptsAbility to storyboard and visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished productExperience developing Sharepoint sitesExperience developing rapid design solutionsSoft Skills:Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong consulting skillsAbility to work effectively with global, virtual teamsAbility to work independentlyHigh degree of initiative and self-motivationAbility to manage several priorities successfullyTeam-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goalsProject management skillsStrong service orientation and high standards of excellence and business enablementWritten and verbal English proficiencyWhat you can expect of usAs we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for your professional and personal growth and well-being.
