Could you be the full-time EHS Lead-MML 2/7 in Mumbai, we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your environmental, health, and safety (EHS) expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and proactive teammates.
You'll support project management in achieving outstanding EHS results and ensure the safety of operations and the environment. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (project management, social and medical partners, HR), monitor compliance with statutory and company requirements, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of EHS risk assessments, emergency plans, and sub-contractor activities, but also build the project EHS communication plan and implement EHS training programs.
We’ll look to you for:
Supporting Project Management in achieving EHS results
Ensuring EHS Risk Assessment is thoroughly conducted
Preparing, implementing, and maintaining emergency plans
Controlling subcontractor activities with respect to EHS
Assisting, coaching, and assessing the EHS teams
Ensuring Alstom EHS standards and tools are deployed
Maintaining records and monitoring compliance

Degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
Experience or understanding of EHS management in project environments
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards
Familiarity with emergency response planning and risk assessment
A relevant professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH, CSP)
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team
