Applications are invited for Educational Professional at Siemens Technical Academy, Nashik to take Electrician Practicals under the Apprenticeship Training Scheme. The role of a teacher is the key component in ensuring a Bright Future for our Country. A Teacher has the unique ability to shape the Young Minds so that they lead a Positive and Successful life.Most importantly they would contribute to the ‘Make in India’ movement.

Job responsibilities –

1. Promotion of Apprenticeship program
2. Support recruitment and onboarding processes of fresher Apprentices
3. Ensure that all the apprentices follow the safety procedures
4. Demonstrate and guide the apprentice for the practical.
5. Issue raw material, drawing, circuit, measuring instruments and tools.
6. Guide the apprentice at each stage of the practical.
7. Demonstrate the correct handling of tools and ergonomics to the apprentice.
8. Explain the calculations required for the practical.
9. Demonstrate skills for panel wiring, layout of components, wire bunching and routing.
10. Conduct exams and grade the apprentice.
11. Correct the apprentice journals and daily work dairies.
12. Guide the apprentice during the project.
13. Ensure availability of the material for the practical.
14. Help in administrative activities.
15. Mentor the apprentice to be master craftsmen.
16. Keep records of tools and equipment in workshop and labs.
17. Maintain the equipment in the workshop and labs.
18. Maintain records of Apprenticeship training.
19. Conduct upskilling & reskilling training for existing workforce.

Desired qualification & experience –

1. NCVT /Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering / Trade with 15 to 20 years of experience
2. Ability to read, explain and wire complex electrical circuits
3. Knowledge of product testing
4. Basic Fitting Knowledge
5. Experience in Maintenance and troubleshooting of machine tools
6. Knowledge of Safety practices.
7. Knowledge of Motor, Transformer winding
8. Knowledge of Power electronics
9. Ex Apprentice of Siemens Training Center or Trainers from similar training center background will be given preference
