Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive electrical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and innovative teammates.
You'll lead the design and development of electrical harnesses for train looms and electrical cubicles, making a significant impact on our projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including Train Electrical Engineers, Electrical Design Leaders, and Integration Engineers), manage and mentor your team, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of validating electrical apparatus within cubicles, ensuring adherence to the Preferred Parts List (PPL) and project requirements, but also overseeing the delivery of high-quality electrical cases or sets of electrical deliverables.
We’ll look to you for:
Developing and designing electrical harnesses for train looms and cubicles
Understanding and analyzing train electrical architecture
Validating electrical components in line with PPL and project needs
Managing and mentoring a team effectively
Maintaining high-quality delivery standards and on-time delivery
Implementing continuous improvement and Return on Experience (REX) from previous projects

Degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering
10+years experience
Wiring harness/schematic/ Electrical harness experience with people management
Experience or understanding of electromechanical engineering, cable harness design, and electrical schematics
Knowledge of switchgear selection and electrical CAD (EPLAN/E3S)
Familiarity with train architecture and IGE-XAO tools is a plus
A leadership mindset with at least 2 years of team management experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to drive process evolution and design improvements
