Our Team:

Our team is engaged in designing and delivering Digital Technology Services and Platforms for all CHC worldwide. We deliver our solutions in a highly competitive market answering FMCH needs and sometimes supporting highly regulated environments (GxP, SoX and other regional and local regulations).

Our team operates in an international context, serving all markets in most of the countries around the world.

Main responsibilities

The Edge Infrastructure Expert is responsible for planning, deploying, and managing the edge infrastructure critical to CHC's data center builds and manufacturing sites across the globe. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the successful execution of projects that support our infrastructure and connectivity needs, especially during our transition towards operational independence.

Main responsibilities:

• Plan and deploy edge infrastructure solutions, including hardware, virtualization, configuration, and connectivity, to support data center and manufacturing site operations.
• Analyze existing infrastructure and application portfolios to recommend strategies for independent operation post-company carve-out.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for project planning and seamless execution.
• Ensure the infrastructure is scalable, secure, and efficient, meeting the company's current and future needs.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in edge infrastructure to continually enhance our capabilities.

About you

Experience:

The ideal candidate will bring a background with at least 5 years of dedicated experience in infrastructure planning and deployment, particularly within edge computing environments. This role demands a seasoned professional who has previously managed large-scale projects, demonstrating an ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors. A proven track record of conducting thorough infrastructure analysis and executing strategic planning in organizations undergoing transitions or scaling efforts is essential. This experience is pivotal in ensuring the candidate can navigate the complexities and challenges of setting up and managing edge infrastructure that meets CHC's ambitious goals.

Soft skills:

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills, ensuring clear and effective technical information exchange among various stakeholders.

Technical skills:

• Expertise in planning, deploying, and managing edge infrastructure for large-scale operations.
• Solid understanding of hardware, virtualization technologies, and network connectivity solutions.
• Experience with cloud services and infrastructure-as-code tools is highly desirable.

Education:

• While not mandatory, a relevant educational background or certifications in infrastructure management or related fields is a plus.

Languages:

• Fluency in written and spoken English.
