Job Purpose:


 The Finance Partner will act as a partner to the business, providing financial insights and support to drive decision-making, optimize financial performance, and ensure alignment with the company’s financial goals and objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


Financial Planning and Analysis:


  • Collaborate with business units to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.


  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key variances and trends.


  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and achieve business objectives.


Business Partnering:


  • Act as a trusted advisor to business unit managers, providing financial guidance and support.


  • Offer financial perspectives and risk assessments.


  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers, challenges, and opportunities.


Cost Management:


  • Monitor and control operating expenses to ensure alignment with budgeted targets.


  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements.


  • Conduct financial analysis on cost structures and recommend optimization strategies.


Financial Reporting and Compliance:


  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.


  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.


  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.


Continuous Improvement:


  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting.


  • Implement best practices in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.


  • Stay updated on industry trends, financial regulations, and accounting standards.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree/ a master’s degree in finance, Accounting,


  • Proven experience of 6-8 yrs in financial planning and analysis, business partnering, and cost management.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.


  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SAP).


  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.


  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Work Environment:


 The Finance Partner will work in an office environment. The role may involve working extended hours during peak periods, such as budget cycles or year-end close.
