Annuities and Insurance Central Review Unit Assistant Vice President Morgan Stanley is currently seeking candidates for a non RP24Assistant Vice President (AVP) position to join the Annuities and Insurance Central Review Unit (AICRU) sister team being established, in Mumbai. This candidate will manage 3 non RP24 Risk Analysts (RAs) and will work closely with and support their onshore peers in the AICRU, headquartered in New York. The onshore AICRU Risk Principals retain sole RP24 product/kyc suitability/appropriateness and final supervisory review and approval responsibility. In this capacity, the non-RP24 AVP will report to an onshore manager and will interact regularly with Financial Advisors (FAs). Occasionally interact with Risk Officers, Sales Teams and colleagues in Operations. The successful candidates responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following: Managing a team of three Risk Analysts in the high performance of their responsibilities Performing reviews of required Morgan Stanley and State specific Annuity paperwork to ensure accuracy and completeness with proper signatures and dates. Cross referencing submitted documents with the order ticket to ensure all required documents have been obtained. In cases where documents are in good order, non RP24 approving those documents. In cases where documents are not in good order, effectively reaching out to and communicating with FAs to provide guidance and steps to remediate. Ensuring enough cash is available in clients accounts to cover the purchase, where applicable. If not, emailing the FA(s) ccing the AICRU Risk Principal, cash is needed. Being able to effectively identify an AICRU Risk Principal by user ID. Being able to effectively communicate and relay to AICRU, any documents that are reviewed and actioned through TEAMS. Identify and escalate any issue or irregularity to the designated RP and Manager
