We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Director, Product Management – Head of Fee Billing - (Global Banking & Markets).
The Director, Fee Billing Product Management, Securities Services role at HSBC is a senior leadership position within the Securities Services division. This role is critical to the division's success and profitability, as it oversees the fee billing product line, one of the key revenue streams for the division. This role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
The Fee Billing Product Management team is responsible for the development, management, and strategic direction of the fee billing product. This includes understanding market trends and customer needs, developing and implementing product strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving innovation and digital transformation.The role is primarily accountable for devising and ensuring the implementation and maintenance of a streamlined global fee billing architecture and operation with a high quality near time fee billing mechanism and protocols across each of the SSV products, with the appropriate level of controls and interim steps to mitigate risks and issues. The team will be required to undertake process re-enginering in order to simplify the processes and technology and furthermore ensure that new technologies are implemented in order to support the growing business and product ranges with high level accuracy and simplicity.
The Director will lead this team, providing strategic direction and leadership. They will work closely with other departments, including sales, operations, and compliance, to ensure the successful execution of product strategies. They will also build and maintain relationships with key clients and industry partners, representing HSBC at industry events and conferences.This role requires a deep understanding of the financial services industry, particularly securities services and fee billing processes. It also requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
