Director, Product Management

We’re looking for a Director of Product Management to join Procore’s Product & Technology Team. Procore software solutions aim to improve the lives of everyone in construction and the people within Product & Technology are the driving force behind our innovative, top-rated global platform. We’re a customer-centric group that encompasses engineering, product, product design and data, security and business systems. 

As a PM Director, you have a wide-ranging, dynamic set of responsibilities. Your core function is to grow, develop, and lead a team of Product Managers that create and ship winning products for Procore. This Director role will be the first senior product leadership position for Procore in India and will be initially responsible for a variety of Product areas which have established engineering, design, or product manager talent in region. Internally and externally, you represent your product areas - you must lead, inspire, and drive confidence in everyone from Procore’s executive team, to Procore’s largest customers. This is a challenging role, where no two days are ever the same.

This position reports into the Head of Product for Self-Performance and Civil Infrastructure and will be based in our Bangalore, India office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Partner with Recruiting to grow your product management team
• Manage your Product Managers, developing their skills and their career paths
• Partner with Engineering Directors and User Experience (UX) counterparts to remove impediments to your Product Manager’s success
• Lead product vision and strategy development for your product area
• Evangelize product vision and strategy internally and externally, to everyone from Procore’s executive team to Procore’s largest customers. You’ll be the face of Procore’s mobile apps.
• Ensure overall execution and success of your product area against key business metrics
• Lead speaking engagements at industry events, trade shows, and internal Procore events
• 25% travel required

What we’re looking for:

• 7+ years in product management at an internet software company, with specific experience working on mobile apps
• 3+ years hiring and leading high performing product teams
• Strong leadership skills – you’ll need to rally your team to follow your vision
• Excellent organization skills to ensure that your team is focused and operating efficiently
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, MBA, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Deep and unrelenting customer focus, and an ability to effectively utilize research and testing within a customer-centric approach to product.
• Prior experience in the construction industry is a plus
