Job Profile


This role will report to the Geo Lead of Consulting India and can be located in either Bangalore, Mumbai or Gurgaon.


Role Purpose


What this job involves


Key responsibilities include:


  • Lead the provision of strategic consulting services in India in areas of portfolio strategy and planning, workplace strategy, business location advisory, change management and other management consulting disciplines using best in class tools and practices.
  • Develop and manage the regional Consulting business plan. Develop objectives/desired results and work with the Consulting team and other regional business leaders to achieve completion.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of the regional Consulting delivery model that will meet client needs and ensure resources are utilized to provide cost-effective products.
  • Support the commercialization and roll-outs of new, innovative ideas and best practices from the innovation center.
  • Engage client leadership and real estate leads to maximize the value of their portfolios.
  • Unlock opportunities for new business and account growth and work with the account team and/or Sales organization to convert these opportunities.
  • Work on new proposals and pitches to achieve sales targets. Provide strategic guidance as well as support for bids, presentations and other similar support activities.
  • Leverage external networks to further sales and business development efforts.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of JLL’s broad capabilities to meet client needs, recognizing opportunities to expand the client footprint by partnering with business and service line leaders.
  • Ability to lead diverse teams, through influence. Align regional teams and key stakeholders across Work Dynamics.
  • Create a solution oriented environment whereby the team is consistently seeking to identify leading edge practices focused on delivering value to the client while working within the process requirements of the account and JLL.
  • Create relationships within the JLL environment to leverage cross account capability to enhance account profitability.
  • Provide guidance for consistent delivery of Consulting services across the region, including reporting requirements, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure high level of execution and client satisfaction for all services performed by the local team.
  • Develop a culture focused on clients, people and teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Serve as a credible and active member of the real estate and industry community, participating in relevant organizations (CoreNet, ULI, etc…) serving as a subject matter expert, board member, panelist, etc.
  • Identify opportunities to demonstrate expertise and leadership within industry organizations to further advance the recognition of JLL as a leader.

The Candidate


Experience


  • A degree in a real estate, finance or business-related discipline; postgraduate qualifications, including an MBA or its equivalent, an advantage.
  • Ten years of industry, management consulting or corporate real estate experience within large corporates.
  • Experience serving, collaborating with and influencing executive management.
  • Proven ability to innovate and develop new products and services.
  • Diverse industry and functional backgrounds gained through consulting or elsewhere.

  • Leadership; strong people manager with the ability to develop and lead diverse teams
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage credibly with senior executives
  • Capability and experience in design thinking
  • Exceptional track record delivering success managing business’ in multiple geographies
