You will be responsible for driving the expansion of LotusFlare’s business across Asia Pacific. You will be the leader of LotusFlare’s sales and business development initiatives in Asia with the goal of adding new accounts to our business in APAC.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enterprise sales position responsible for prospecting, engaging and acquiring and managing new communications service provider clients in Asia Pacific
Primary target markets are: Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong and Philippines
Develop and maintain relationships with executives in the telecom, media, cloud and system integrator (SI) sectors in Asia.
Manage end to end BD sales funnel, including generating new prospects, creating opportunities, qualifying prospects and driving to closure
Work with LotusFlare marketing to identify market trends, key messages and give input to marketing campaigns for Asia
Expand and growth business with LotusFlare’s existing customers in Asia through renewals and expansion SOWs
Provide business leadership and management within the account team for one of our leading telecom customers in the Philippines
Build and maintain key executive relationships, develop and manage opportunities, monitor on-going deployment projects
Work cross-functionally with LotusFlare product, account manager and sales engineering to accomplish customer goals and deliver on commitments, on-time and to a high quality standard
Prepare reports on BD status to communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal stakeholders
Track invoices, POs, SOWs or contract renewal paperwork
REQUIREMENTS:
10+ experience in sales, business development, consulting, account management or similar role
4+ years of experience working for an enterprise software company that sells into Telecommunications Operators
BSc or BE. MBA a plus
Proven track record of success in achieving or exceeding sales quota
Experience with B2B sales and how to qualify and advance prospects through a sales pipeline
You are a digital savvy individual that know the latest digital technologies and trends; you experiment and are open to integrating new digital technologies in everyday work
Consultative selling skills and commercial understanding
Strong customer and market insight and negotiation skills
Prior experience delivering large software or digital transformation projects to telecom operators
Experience in project management, account management and client delivery.
Comfortable with demos, proposals, RFPs, contracts, SOWs, POs, invoices and the ‘nuts and bolts’ of commercial sales for enterprise software projects
Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written English)
Established ‘Rolodex’ of contacts in Asia telecoms and industry partners
Flexible to be able to work across global timezone as needed.
