Director , IT Engineering (India)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, IT Engineering to join our A-team (hybrid*). We are looking for a leader with robust engineering expertise, capable of balancing hands-on technical decision-making, high-level strategy, and team building. As a senior leader, you will enhance the operational efficiency of our technology solutions, build a high-performing team, and promote initiatives and capabilities to meet the changing needs of the business.

In this role your key tasks will include:

• Support all aspects of major technical initiatives targeting both Azure and AWS cloud systems. 
• Implement cutting edge solutions leveraging AI and enhanced automation 
•  Assist with designing, building and maintaining large-scale data models using Azure and AWS 
• Conduct technical and cost reviews of infrastructure systems with understanding of cloud environments 
• Drive projects from inception through implementation 
• Analyze the continuously changing technology landscape and identify new opportunities to continuously develop, fine tune, and evolve the technology edge at Allucent 
• Develop a growth plan for the technical delivery team to support Allucent's global scale and enterprise nature. 
• Build and nurture a collaborative, high-performance culture. 
• Ensure adequate resource allocation and capacity management to meet project demands. 
• Optimize team utilization and balance workload across projects. 
• Evaluate incoming projects and prioritize based on business impact and urgency. 
• Determine resource needs to support efficient project kickoff and execution. 
• Ensure seamless project delivery, goal alignment, and clear communication across teams. 
• Proactively identify potential risks and address project roadblocks. 
• Present project updates, resource requirements, and performance metrics. 
• Ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
