ROLE PROFILE: This critical leadership role in the global internal comms (IC) team will lead a team in the strategy, execution and continuous improvement of internal digital communication channels at LSEG. This role is pivotal in ensuring internal communication is engaging, effective and aligned with business objectives. In partnership with our Technology and Operations teams, this includes managing our key platforms – Connect (our intranet), Viva Engage, digital signage and email tools (Poppulo). Innovation is also key as we start to understand and adopt generative AI and other technologies where we can. ROLE SUMMARY: • This role reports into the Head of Internal Communications and will lead a team to develop and implement a comprehensive digital communication strategy that aligns with LSEG’s goals and helps motivate and inspire LSEG people in our purpose strategy and culture • An experienced and passionate comms professional with a deep understanding of channels who can manage and optimize the intranet, our internal social channels and digital screens to enhance employee engagement, ensuring an outstanding user experience and using data and insight to drive improvements • This individual will have a passion for creative compelling content, guiding others to build and deliver high quality content across various digital platforms, making sure content is timely, relevant and aligned with our tone of voice and messaging guidelines • Partnership is at the heart of this role as this role will take the lead on working closely with our Technology, and Operations teams, and external vendors to maintain and enhance our tools and platforms • This role will suit someone wanting to make a positive difference in a large, complex and growing global organisation. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: • Leading a team to define and execute the global internal communications digital experience strategy designed to engage, connect and inform LSEG people in our purpose, strategy and culture • Managing and optimising Connect (intranet), Viva Engage (internal social channel), digital screens and email (Poppulo) to enhance employee engagement • Overseeing daily operation of digital communication channels, ensuring smooth functionality and user experience • Working with the senior manager editorial and content and other IC leaders to implement best practices for content delivery and audience engagement • Working closely with Technology, Operations and external vendors to maintain and enhance digital platforms and tools • Utilising analytics tools to measure effectiveness of communication initiatives, generating regular reports feeding back metrics, insights and recommendations for improvements to the IC team. Partnering with other IC leaders to identify and prioritise IC improvement opportunities to drive consistency and quality, share knowledge and adopt new more effective ways of communicating. • Supporting a high-performance team culture through effective performance management, communication and coaching - providing support to less experienced team members • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in digital communications • Living and role modelling LSEG values of integrity, partnership, excellence and change every day, both in the way we lead and through our communications approaches and materials. This includes delivering content and activity that is in our tone of voice and in line with global IC principles • Making sure we manage risk and promote a strong risk culture in all we do WHAT YOU'LL BRING: • Minimum 5 years in digital communication or related field • Proven experience in managing digital communications channels in a large organisation • Strong track record of creating impactful content and driving digital engagement • Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms • Experience with analytics tools • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong leadership and team management capabilities • Strategic thinker and strong problem solving skills • Highly collaborative and a passion for people WHAT YOU’LL GET IN RETURN: • A chance to work as part of a growing business in an energised team that’s helping transform LSEG.
