Position Overview:
The Director and Head of IT infrastructure will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's technology infrastructure. This role requires a strategic leader who can ensure that our IT infrastructure is robust, secure, and efficiently supports our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the design, implementation, and management of cloud services, on-premises computer and storage, and data center operations.
* Lead High-Performance Computing (HPC) initiatives, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
* Manage network and telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring reliability and performance.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners to optimize the performance and functionality of IT infrastructure.
* Implement and manage a suite of engineering tools and services to support the product development and operations teams.
* Ensure the availability and scalability of development, testing, and deployment environments.
* Lead the adoption of DevOps practices and tools to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
* Bring M and A experience to lead efforts for system divestiture, ensuring seamless alignment of systems and processes.
* Provide thought leadership in evaluating emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of innovation.
* Collaborate with business leaders to understand requirements, identify opportunities for process improvement, and align technology solutions with business goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT management, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
* Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure, engineering tools and services
* Strong knowledge of Azure, cloud computing, network management, and data center operations.
* Strong knowledge in cybersecurity frameworks and risk management.
* Strong understanding of High-Tech industry processes and business requirements.
* Experience in leading and managing a diverse and global IT team.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
* Proven track record of implementing innovative technology solutions that drive business value.
* M and A knowledge will be a plus.
