Enterprise Data Governance & Platforms (EDGP) is part of the larger Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions (EDDS) organization.  EDGP improves the customer experience and drives business growth through robust enterprise-wide data policies and governance and enabling a data-driven culture, while developing digital and data platforms that provide insightful customer relationships and allow users to leverage enterprise-wide data capabilities.


Job Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.
  • Lead the research for new products, external evaluation, product enhancements and product redesign.
  • Select design concepts and fundamental technology used for new products or improvement for existing ones in line with business model.
  • Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes including market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch.
  • Analyze consumer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build vs. buy perspective.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams, via collaboration with multiple stakeholders on Requirements Grooming, Design, Architecture and Prioritization across multiple scrum teams.
  • Partner with engineers, tech leads, scrum masters and architects to define capabilities and features for continuous release in an Agile environment.
  • Own and maintain the product roadmap which defines product enhancements for short- and long-term releases.
  • Oversee key projects, processes and performance reports, data, and analysis.
  • Identify and manage program blocking issues, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical or operational constraints.
  • Develop, improve, or transform existing processes to support product(s) development with an aim towards operational excellence.
  • Serve as the internal and external subject matter

Key Responsibilities:


  • Build AI/ML/GenAI models and solutions to enhance and support enterprise data platforms (EDP) product suite driving better user experience and scalability
  • Define and own the end-to-end roadmap for all solutions working closing with product and tech partners meeting the regulatory and enterprise needs
  • Prioritize, define, and groom features and user stories working closely with technology partners and testing the same before release.
  • Work with users for collecting feedback on existing features and new requirements and incorporate the same in the existing plan.
  • Align on the overall tech stack and capabilities to be built.
  • Evaluate external offerings and existing solutions within the company to do appropriate benchmarking.
  • Detailed tech design and architecture to ensure solution is scalable and can solve for majority of the applications and databases in the company.
  • Identify the pilot applications part of the MVP for feedback and iterative development.
  • Scale the solution to address custom needs and make it more comprehensive for broader roll out on existing applications in a phased manner.
  • Continue to make enhancement to address the pain points with each feature launch and hardening.

Qualification Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information security, Mathematics, Statistics, or any other relevant qualification
  • 8+ years of demonstrated excellence in leading teams delivering business solutions across a variety of platforms and technologies such as Big Data, Big Query, Pyspark, Hive, Scala, Python
  • 4+ years of experience in data science, decision science building AI/ML models to solve business problems
  • Ability to discover and design scalable solutions and lead implementation of complex data products.
  • Experience with reporting, designing APIs, developing user interfaces, web services application architectures and microservices application architecture is preferred.
  • Strong program management, analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to think abstractly and deal with ambiguous/under-defined problems.
