Position Overview
Based in Gurgaon, India, this global role focuses on developing and managing advanced business analytics and AI-driven solutions for pre-sales value quantification. As Director, Business Analytics & Product Management, you will lead the creation and optimization of tools that help Mastercard’s internal teams quantify the value of services, enhance customer engagement, and drive business outcomes. You will combine AI and analytics to deliver actionable insights, empowering teams to make informed decisions and strengthen client value propositions. The role requires close collaboration across teams to ensure tools meet business needs and deliver measurable impact.

Role Responsibilities
1. Value Quantification & Tool Development
o Lead the development and optimization of analytics tools and solutions to quantify the value of Mastercard’s services during the pre-sales process, enabling internal teams to effectively communicate value to customers.
o Oversee the entire lifecycle of pre-sales analytics tools, from ideation and development to implementation, monitoring, and iteration, ensuring they align with Mastercard’s objectives.
2. AI & Analytics Integration for Business Impact
o Apply AI and advanced analytics techniques to enhance pre-sales tools, enabling data-driven insights that support customer engagement, strategic decision-making, and business outcomes.
o Identify emerging trends in analytics and AI to continuously improve pre-sales tools and processes, ensuring greater impact and innovation in business operations.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
o Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Consulting, Product, and other internal teams to understand business needs and ensure successful tool development and deployment.
o Communicate insights and tool value through compelling presentations and dashboards to senior leadership and internal teams, ensuring tool adoption and usage.
4. Insight Generation, Reporting & Process Optimization
o Generate actionable insights from data to inform strategic decisions, providing clear, data-backed recommendations to improve pre-sales efforts and customer engagement.
o Continuously evaluate and optimize pre-sales processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and impact on business outcomes.
5. Leadership & Team Development
o Lead and mentor a high-performing team of business analysts and product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
o Ensure the team remains aligned with business goals and drives excellence in pre-sales analytics to contribute to Mastercard’s broader success.

• Business Analytics Expertise: Strong background in business analytics, with experience in developing and optimizing tools for pre-sales value quantification. You are skilled at translating complex data into actionable insights that drive business outcomes.
• AI & Analytics Integration: Experience in integrating AI and advanced analytics into business solutions. You understand how to leverage AI to enhance decision-making and improve customer engagement.
• Pre-Sales & Client Engagement: Solid understanding of the pre-sales process and the ability to create tools that effectively communicate the value of services to customers, enhancing client relationships and driving business growth.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Consulting, and Product, to understand business needs and deliver impactful solutions that align with strategic objectives.
• Product Management Experience: Hands-on experience in managing the development and lifecycle of business analytics tools and products, from ideation and development to deployment and iteration.
• Strategic Thinking: A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a track record of identifying business opportunities and applying data-driven strategies to optimize processes and outcomes.
• Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights and tools to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling way.
• Leadership & Mentoring: Experience in leading and mentoring teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation while driving high performance and continuous learning.
• Execution Focus: A results-driven mindset with the ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution, ensuring that tools and solutions are delivered on time and create measurable business value.
• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in analytics, data science, or AI/ML are preferred.
