Position at India Manthan Services Digital Visual Media Assistant – iSP’s School Website Harmony Project Location: Bangalore Purpose of the roleThe Digital Visual Media Assistant plays a supportive role in the International Schools Partnership’s (iSP) School Website Harmony Project. This transformative initiative unifies the digital presence of all iSP schools into a shared ecosystem and messaging framework. This role brings each school’s story to life by curating visuals that capture transformative learning in action. The Digital Visual Media Assistant leads efforts to organise and manage all video and image assets, editing footage, such as testimonials to learning in action, to create authentic and engaging content that resonates with families. This role also ensures accessibility and compliance with digital rights standards, so every visual asset is impactful, inclusive, and responsibly managed within iSP’s ecosystem.

Edit raw video footage from schools, including testimonials and classroom highlights, ensuring visuals authentically capture transformative learning moments.
Optimise video and image quality for web display, maintaining consistency and alignment with iSP’s brand standards.
Add captions and subtitles to videos to enhance accessibility for all audiences.
Ensure all visual assets meet digital rights and accessibility standards, including accurate alt text for images to support inclusivity.
Leadership in DAM organisation
Lead the tagging, organising, and uploading of all video and image assets to the DAM system, establishing an accessible and well-structured content library.
Maintain accurate metadata, alt text, and naming conventions in the DAM to support easy access, retrieval, and consistent use across sites.
Guidance on storytelling through photography
Partner with schools to help them capture transformative learning moments that reflect their unique culture and strengths.
Provide guidance on sourcing and selecting visuals that go beyond standard images, capturing real, impactful learning moments that bring each school’s personality forward within the iSP framework.
Support schools in aligning visuals with iSP’s values, focusing on authentic experiences that resonate emotionally with families.
School support and content enhancement
Collaborate with schools to identify and fill gaps in visual content, supporting them in gathering or creating images and videos that represent their educational approach.
Edit video testimonials and multimedia content to enhance clarity, engagement, and alignment with project goals.
Offer ongoing support to schools, ensuring visual assets reflect each school’s identity while aligning with iSP’s core messaging.
Administrative and ad hoc assistance
Help organise and update visual templates, presentations, and other resources to ensure quality across all materials.
Support the content team by preparing specific visual content as requested for individual school projects.
Skills, qualifications, and experience
Video and image editing skills: Proficiency in software such as Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro to edit raw footage and optimise visuals for web use.
Digital accessibility and rights knowledge: Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., alt text, captions) and understanding of digital rights for compliant, inclusive content.
Organisational skills and DAM expertise: Experience with DAM systems or similar tools for tagging, organising, and managing a comprehensive visual library.
Attention to detail: Committed to consistency, quality, and inclusivity, ensuring all visuals authentically represent the student experience.
Education and experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Media Studies, Communications, Photography, Graphic Design, or related field.
Proven experience and portfolio in digital media, video editing, or visual content role required.
