The Applications Development Digital Software Engineer Sr Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the support and implementation of SaaS applications that will primarily be used by Enterprise Services and Public Affairs (ESPA) portfolio. Responsible for working along with Cloud Architecture Review Teams that is responsible for governance and approval of externally hosted and hybrid cloud applications. Looking for candidates who have hands-on experience supporting cloud application API integrations, have passion for all aspects of software development and is a self-learner.
Responsibilities:
- Experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP) between internal hosted and cloud applications using Container platform preferably Open Shift and Docker.
- Experience with integration of Single Sign on (SSO/SAML) solutions using existing Enterprise Authentication with Identity provider and Service Provider
- Maintain a high standard of work in identifying threats and recommending mitigating controls on vendor SaaS platforms as per Citi cloud policies.
- Engage with vendors to assess and question their technology architectures, ensuring alignment with Citi security teams requirements.
- Participate in architecture and design reviews for new cloud services and solution.
- Experience with writing Automation scripts for SFTP or exposure to Cloud API integrations
- Mentor and provide technical guidance for junior members of the team.
- Collaborate with Information Security teams including to identify and mitigate threats in vendor cloud platforms, reduce risk and ensure integrity of their cloud environments.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 8 -10 years of relevant experience
- Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
- Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
- Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
