Job summary:
As a Digital Learning Developer II in Human Resource Product Management, you will identify, recommend, and create digital learning solutions that help business partners and stakeholders meet key-business goals. You will collaborate with others to develop high-quality videos, interactions, graphics, and other digital learning products to be deployed through an emerging microlearning platform for just-in-time learning and on-the-job performance improvement. You will identify ways to innovate and drive learning retention, apply visual design and digital marketing experience, and follow established procedures and design standards to develop microlearning solutions that incorporate social media trends and appeal to the modern learner.
Job responsibilities:
- Create high-quality videos and graphics with vast experience in using industry applications (e.g., Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud, (Premier Pro, After Effects, Audition, Animate, Illustrator, and Photoshop), Techsmith Camtasia, Synthesia)
- Discover and learn emerging and established technologies, and seeks ways to apply them
- Contribute and work collaboratively in a team, iterates solutions, exhibits flexibility and adaptability, explores new tools/approaches to deliver solutions at speed and scale, and applies agile methodologies to manage all aspects of learning development projects from needs analysis to implementation
- Ensure that all training materials are properly reviewed and approved by required stakeholders, following appropriate procedures and standards for design and accessibility
- Monitor key performance indicators and other business metrics associated with the learning products, measures the effectiveness of learning solutions by reviewing learner feedback and testing data, addresses trends, analyzes and summarizes results/impacts, and shares results with key stakeholders.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and troubleshooting web, video, audio, graphic, and multimedia deliverables
- Extensive hands-on experience with design and development software – intermediate to advanced level proficiency with tools in the Adobe Creative Suite applications (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition , Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, or Animate); and intermediate level proficiency in multiple design and development tools/programs (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (Responsive Development), Audio/Video studio production and editing, Generative content (using Artificial Intelligence), Figma, Microsoft Office Tools)
- Ability to work effectively on multiple projects in a fast moving, deadline-driven and agile development environment
- Comprehensive abilities to write technical documentation
- Strong time and project management skills that are demonstrated by timely task completion and quality of deliverables
- Knowledge of ADA and WCAG 2.1 levels A-AA requirements and experience developing fully accessible digital solutions.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, digital learning design technology, multimedia technology, digital marketing, or similar degree
- Strong consulting, negotiation and influence skills, with proven accomplishment in building relationships with customers and internal clients
- Experience researching, evaluating, and prototyping emerging technologies/approaches and consult on potential application in learning
- Ability to identify, learn, and troubleshoot new tools, platforms, and production processes, with experience designing for the modern workforce (Millennials, Gen Z) with stimulating ideas
