About the job


Our Team:


The Digital Archiving Product team is part of Digital Technology Integrated Data Solutions within Sanofi Digital organization.


Our mission is to support all Sanofi business functions to preserve their regulated digital business records for the long term, in compliance with Sanofi regulations. To do so, we operate Digital Archival projects, we configure and maintain Digital Archival services using a global platform, we are also supporting all Sanofi units with our expertise on long term retention problematics when relevant. We aim at designing efficient processes supporting all Sanofi Business, balancing risk-based approach and strict compliance with regulation.


As a Digital Archiving Expert, you will be responsible for the end-to-end operations to support business legal archival needs. You will apply our digital archiving standards, looking for the best approach to translate business specifications to our operational project teams. You will coordinate the delivery of our digital archiving services from the initial demand to the final release of the projects in close collaboration with our offshore factory of services.


Main responsibilities:


Business portfolio


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for one of several business units to support their legal digital archival requests.
  • Stay updated with the business units’ priorities, to proactively support their legal archival needs.
  • Drive a portfolio of legal archival projects operated by our offshore factory of services (AIMS)
  • Ensure the final delivery and consistency of the project operations.
  • Monitor project budgets and communicate regularly on the project expectations, challenges, outcomes with team members and involved stakeholders.

Compliance & quality control:


  • Collaborate with Sanofi Record Managers and Sanofi legal & quality advisors to ensure compliance with all relevant legal regulations, and standards related to long term legal data preservation.
  • Ensure the accuracy and data integrity of archived digital content for your portfolio of projects.

Software and Tools:


  • Coordinate operations for your projects scope on the Sanofi digital archiving platform, leveraging all relevant company standards as needed (file transfers, cloud hosting… etc) to support the legal archival requirements.
  • Ensure the technical quality of the solution.

Platform Lifecycle Management


  • Contribution to the lifecycle of our legal archival solution, by suggesting innovative archival patterns and required features to address business needs or by participating to testing phases, proof of concepts…etc.

Innovation:


  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in digital archiving and continuously recommend innovative solutions to improve archiving processes.

About you


  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in digital data archiving, digital data long term preservation, or a similar role in relation with project management and information lifecycle management
  • Soft skills:
    • Excellent communication skills in a global environment
    • Ability to work in a global team environment within a complex ecosystem of rules and organization.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Customer-focused with the ability to collaborate with business users all around the world.
    • Adaptability: Open to change and appetite to learn new tools and technologies.
    • Knowledge on Agile, Scrum methodology, Kanban is a plus.
  • Technical skills:
    • Strong understanding of digital legal long term preservation standards, principles, and best practices.
    • Knowledgeable on pharmaceutical information lifecycle management processes and applicable data retention policies to comply with legal and regulatory requirements or experience in a regulated information management domain.
    • Experience in implementing data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance throughout its lifecycle.
    • Proficiency in managing metadata to enhance data discoverability, usability, and integrity.
    • Experience with various legal archival solutions (SOLIX CDP, Opentext Info Archive, Informatica… etc.)
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
    • Familiarity with cloud hosting services: our legal archival platform is running on Azure cloud.
    • Knowledge on AI enabled data (unstructured or structured) classification is a plus.
    • Knowledge on SAP business records archival is a plus.
    • Basic programming or scripting skills (e.g., SQL) are a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Languages: Proficiency in English, French is a plus
