Job Title: Deputy General Manager – SCM
Location: Pune

The mission of the job:
To handle the order-to-delivery profile except production to meet customer requirements within allocated budgets within the framework of TMS (truck management system) guidelines of the Company
Education required: B.E. (Mechanical/ Production) and 12 - 13 years of experience
Reporting to: MD
Reported by: 14-15 Direct Reporting Sr. Managers / Managers with a total strength of 120 Staff including warehouse teams
Professional Experience:
• Business Understanding: Aware of the automobile business, handling customers, knowledge of supply chain, excise and imports, Supplier Handling
• Technical understanding of manufacturing process, knowledge of product.
• Leadership qualities, Motivational qualities, insight into customer needs, Coaching and Mentoring
• Operations, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement Mgmt, Inventory Control, Key Account Management, Localization, Material Planning, Demand Planning, and Contract Management.
Task and Responsibility:
INCOMING STORES
• Inventory control against Finance Targets
• Control non-moving stock
• To achieve the financial target
• PRODUCTION PLANNING
• To plan the production
• To release the monthly schedule for production
• To release monthly schedule for procurement
• To procure the components to decide what to procure when
OUTBOUND STORES
• To plan the dispatch of the finished goods
• To control the finished goods inventory
• To control the logistics budget
• To meet the customer requirements
• Transportation Management
EXCISE
• To comply to all statutory requirements
• To prevent the penalty from the government
IMPORT
• To plan the import activities
• To control the import cost
• To fulfil the customer requirements
WAREHOUSE
• Maintain 7 days FG warehouse stock
• Finalizing Logistic activity at the warehouse location to fulfill customer’s requirements
Key figures (KPI):
• ITR (Inventory Turn Rate)
• Fulfilment of customer scheduling
• Work according to budget plan
• No Penalties
• No production stoppage for non-availability of imported material
• No production/ Line stoppage at the customer end
