Job Summary:
This role is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing operations and ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and meets quality standards. This role involves planning, organising, scheduling, directing and controlling manufacturing processes and ensuring that goods are produced on time, within budget cost, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Production Planning & Scheduling:
·Develop and implement production schedules.
·Allocate resources efficiently and monitor operator efficiency.
·Ensure timelines and targets are met.
2.Quality Control & Compliance:
·Ensure products meet quality standards.
·Follow quality control processes.
·Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
3.Cost Management & Budgeting:
·Monitor production costs and optimize expenses.
·Identify cost-saving opportunities.
·Work within budget constraints.

4.Team Management & Training:
·Supervise and coordinate production staff.
·Assign tasks and monitor productivity.
·Provide training and skill development.

5.Inventory & Supply Chain Management:
·Manage raw material and finished goods inventory.
·Coordinate with procurement for material availability.
·Minimize waste and optimize resources.
·
6.Safety & Workplace Compliance:
·Implement workplace safety protocols.
·Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
·Conduct safety training and regular inspections.
7.Process Improvement & Innovation:
·Identify and implement efficiency improvements.
·Introduce automation and new technologies.
·Stay updated with industry trends.

8.Coordination with Other Departments:
·Work closely with sales, procurement, and logistics teams.
·Align production with market demand.
·Report production performance to senior management.
·
9.Leadership and Team Management:
·Lead and manage a team of 10 people effectively.
·Be an efficient people manager.
Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field of manufacturing.
·Proven experience of 12 years minimum in manufacturing and operations.
·Strong knowledge of production management and quality control principles.
·Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
·Proficient in MS Office and SAP software.
