We are looking for an engineer with experience in cloud-based technologies. A DevOps evangelist who is passionate about automated CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and operational maturity. Someone familiar with data protection and supporting applications for large enterprises.
This is a remote position in India. We will only consider candidates currently in India and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.
About The Role:
- Participate in ongoing operational activities: deployments, monitoring, reporting, and patching.
- Focus on operational excellence, collaborating with product and engineering teams to gather and deliver requirements.
- Develop DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation with global engineering teams.
- Ensure solutions are resilient, available, healthy, and high performing.
- Build infrastructure for quick deployment, running, and scaling of software in the cloud.
- Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance and provide out-of-hours support via on-call Rota.
About You:
- 1-3 years of DevOps or Software Engineering experience.
- Proficiency with scripting languages, particularly Python and Terraform.
- Experience with AWS and/or GCP cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, GIT, build tools, and container development/deployment.
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, AppDynamics) and networking/OS fundamentals.
- Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and accountability, with the ability to make decisions with limited information.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple project deadlines, and prioritize workloads according to business deliverables.
