We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with Development background to join out technology team in Clarivate. You will get the opportunity to work in a cross-cultural work environment while working on the latest web technologies with an emphasis on user-centred design.
About You (Skills & Experience Required)
B.Tech/M.Tech degree in the field of computer science is preferred, otherwise equivalent experience is expected
At least 3 years of professional experience as a Systems Administrator/DevOps supporting development teams
Good knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery approaches
Good practical knowledge of CI Tools, e.g. Jenkins
Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure orchestration tools like CloudFormation and Terraform
Strong knowledge of Linux OS
Good scripting skills in one or any combination of bash, python, perl, ruby
Good knowledge of cloud providers offering, AWS in particular
It would be great if you also had,
Good understanding of enterprise search technologies, such as Elastic Search, EC2
Familiarity with configuration management tool like Ansible & Git to manage and share code repositories
Hands-on experience in setting up dashboards, health rules, and fine tune monitoring using tools such as Datadog.
What will you be doing in this role?
Develop infrastructure-as-code and automated scripts meant for building or deploying workloads in various environments through CI/CD pipelines
Support cloud-based solutions by building and managing infrastructures in AWS
Automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks
Promotion and evangelization of DevOps best practices (CI, CD, automated testing, branching strategy, decoupling, etc…)
Simplification and improvement of software delivery/release processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and develop software solutions
About the Team
Cloud Architecture and DevOps Engineering is a part of Product Engineering in Clarivate IP Business Unit. This team is responsible for driving cloud native initiatives, CI/CD standardization support in improving DevOps engineering practices and building future proof cloud solution.
Hours of Work
This is a permanent position with Clarivate.9 hours per day including lunch break. you should be flexible with working hours to align with globally distributed teams and stakeholders.
