Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various technology platforms, including mobile, cloud, IoT, and blockchain, along with experience in software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design solutions that meet business needs while ensuring the quality and maintainability of the codebase.Software Requirements:Strong understanding of technology platforms such as mobile, cloud, IoT, and blockchain.Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.Overall Responsibilities:Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand technology requirements and design solutions to meet business needs.Develop technical specifications and detailed documentation for new features and enhancements.Stay current with the latest technology trends and advancements and suggest ways to incorporate them into existing solutions.Conduct code reviews to ensure the quality and maintainability of the codebase.Participate in the resolution of technical issues and provide technical support to team members.Collaborate with the testing team to ensure software solutions are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards.Category-wise Technical Skills:Technologies:Strong technical skills in mobile, cloud, IoT, or blockchain technologies.Programming Languages:Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.Development Tools:Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools such as Agile, Scrum, Git, JIRA, and Confluence.Experience:Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in software development, with a focus on technologies mentioned above.Experience with software development methodologies and tools.Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and participating in code reviews.Day-to-Day Activities:Participate in daily stand-up meetings and project planning sessions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design solutions.Write, test, and deploy software solutions.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.Stay current with the latest technology trends and advancements, incorporating them into existing solutions where applicable.Provide technical support to team members and actively resolve technical issues.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Soft Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work well in a team environment.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to adapt to new technologies and changing requirements.Good time management and prioritization skills.SYNECHRON’S DIVERSITY & INCLUSION STATEMENT Diversity & Inclusion are fundamental to our culture, and Synechron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
