Your Role and Responsibilities What you’ll be doing:
Debug, design, engineer and execute pipelines designed to facilitate NMS development
Work closely with QA to promote authorized products and components for release to IBM customers.
Contributes to the development of new theories and methods for automation in QA
Attend and participate in various Engineering meetings for the team
Manages DevOps test environment and data using various tools such as Jenkins & GIT
Work with SevOne and IBM TaaS Artifactory to provide Engineers with repositories for artifacts.
Evaluate and test software bug fixes, extensions, and features
Evaluate product code according to specifications
Required Technical and Professional Expertise Over all 7 to 12 years of experience with below expertise:
Substantial experience building applications using GitLab and GitHub CI / Python / PHP / Bash / JavaScript / Groovy
Experience reading code to understand the thought process of the designer
Experience with Jenkins / Automation Server / CI/CD / Cron
Experience with GIT
Strong Linux OS Experience with a focus on disk configuration and package management/updates on RHEL and Ubuntu
Critical thinker with a problem-solving mindset
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Understanding of load balancers, routers, call manager, switches and knowledge of networking protocols such as routing, DNS, and SNMP
