Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (EITSI) is a fully owned subsidiary of Eurofins and functions as a Global Software Delivery Center exclusively catering to Eurofins Global IT business needs. The code shipped out of EITSI impacts the global network of Eurofins labs and services.

TITLE: DevOps Engineer

REPORTING TO: eESB and CoC Database Deployment Manager

WORKING LOCATION: India

JOB SUMMARY: DevOps engineer proficient in infrastructure administration/automation, deployment, and configuration management automation on Kubernetes-based platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Windows administration and patching
• Automating cloud infrastructure creation using Terraform
• Managing and operating Kubernetes-based platforms
• Deploying, configuring, optimizing, and supporting middleware hosted on Kubernetes-based platforms
• Deployment and configuration management automation using Ansible, Octopus, and Azure DevOps services

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Proficiency in Windows and Linux-based operating systems administration
• Strong experience in implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Knowledge in Kubernetes-based platforms administration
• Strong experience in automating deployments and configuration management using Ansible
• Strong experience with Docker or other container-based technologies

• Have extensive experience in Java application development and system integration
• Possess international work experience
• Be willing to travel to Europe and North America for initial training and project-related support
• Have 6-10 years of experience

PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL CRITERIA: Eurofins emphasizes a robust Performance Management system, including quarterly calibrations, half-yearly reviews, and annual reviews. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will be set and communicated within the first 30 days of joining, with slight variations based on projects.
