What you’ll do-


We are looking for a passionate, highly motivated, and experienced Development Manager to join our team. This high-performance and fast-paced environment is assured to provide rich opportunities for learning and growing. As a manager with HR accountability for your team, you will be working in a cross-functional organization of talented, supportive and motivated colleagues, following agile methodologies and industry best practices, working with stakeholders globally, across time zones, geographies, and cultures.


People Manager:


  • Act as a coach and mentor to your team members, support their growth and development, being at the same time a liaison between your team and upper management.
  • Take responsibility for the overall success and performance of your team, and actively work to improve it.
  • Provide clear expectations, guide career progression, assess contribution and performance, and manage compensation
  • Be responsible for budgeting and resource allocation and support the team in striking the right balance between delivering features and meeting non-functional requirements like secure development practices, SAP product standards, and other compliance requirements.
  • Ensure successful delivery and smooth operations by identifying risks impacting delivery and support the team resolve them efficiently.
  • Hire for the roles on your teams, and onboard new team members.

Technical Responsibilities:


  • Working with product management, product owners, experts, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and translate those needs into concise backlog items with detailed requirements and implement them with the development team.
  • Managing internal and external escalations including customer communication where required, as well as providing timely and ongoing regular updates and solutions to SAP customers according to our Service Level Agreements (SLA).

What you bring-


  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a top-tier educational institute with 8+ years’ work experience. 
  • Track record working in global environments, especially with teams in the United States and Germany. You have a strong cultural awareness.
  • Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a “can-do” attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness.
  • Understanding of Scrum and Agile with a willingness to embrace new topics and technologies.
  • Experience with database concepts, IT operations and ABAP development will be a strong plus.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
  • Think independently and apply effective problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, emphasizing the ability to work well in global and cross-cultural team.
