Development Lead - Oracle EPM - Assistant Vice President

Role Summary & Role Description

Oracle EPM Senior Development Manager who has the ability to define and lead EPM strategy along with business partners.  Requires Oracle EPM Cloud implementation experience with deep knowledge of the financial processes supporting budgeting and planning, M/E close process, financial consolidations, transfer pricing, and profitability and cost management.

Be able to interact with key stakeholders across the Finance organization to deliver Enterprise Planning solutions, Profitability applications, and Analytic solutions across State Street.  Looking for a team player having strong leadership qualities with the ability to guide and mentor the EPM team.  Candidate should have 15+ years experience in the Finance domain delivering several larger Oracle EPM implementations.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree level qualification in Finance and/or Computer Science or related degree.

Core/Must have skills

• Team Lead with deep technical/functional knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud Application Development – PBCS, FCC, ARCS, EPCM, EDM including leading multiple system implementations.
• Demonstrated success leading EPM implementations using an onshore/offshore model and capable of driving and delivering the projects along with implementation partners.  Able to create a team culture while working across borders.
• Ability to speak in business terms with stakeholders, understand key topics, and drive the overall design and development effort.  Provide subject matter expertise on Oracle EPM best practices and ability to leverage technical/functional knowledge to guide the team to deliver maximum business value.
• Finance Domain Knowledge - understand business needs, understand financial processes (budget, forecast, close, activity-based cost management), and maintain strong cross-functional relationships.
• Act as a liaison between Finance, Technical team, and System Integrators.  Able to work across cylos to bring teams together to solution target architecture.
• Experience in Oracle Hyperion Profitability and Cost Management (HPCM) and/or Enterprise Profitability & Cost Management (EPCM). This is a highly valued skill and we are looking for resources that have prior experience on project implementations.

• Comfortable operating in a modified agile approach to perform proof of concepts, iterate and refine the end state solution.  Be able to adapt to shifts in priorities and/or demand. Ability to deliver quality measurable business outcomes in a project framework.

• Strong foundation on both the technical and functional aspects of the EPM solution

• Strong knowledge of Essbase cube design and implementations

• Strong EPCM experience is preferred to lead Client P&L and Business Unit P&L migrations to cloud.  Experience with implementing EPCM for Transfer Pricing functions also a big plus. 
• Implement EPM Performance tuning and application optimization
• Strong PL/SQL experience and Data modelling skills is a plus
• Strong understanding of data governance concepts and master data management best practices.  Experience with EDM is preferred.
