Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled SSIS/ETL Developer with strong SQL Server expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). You will be responsible for ensuring efficient data integration and transformation to support our business needs.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SSIS to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas to support ETL processes.
Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Optimize ETL workflows for performance, ensuring efficient data processing and minimal downtime.
Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data.
Create and maintain documentation for all ETL processes, including data mappings, flow diagrams, and operational procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues to ensure smooth data flow.
Provide training and support to users on data access and reporting tools.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as an SSIS/ETL Developer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server.
Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
Knowledge of other ETL tools such as Informatica or Talend.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Certification in SQL Server or data management.
