Cloud ERP is the foundation for SAP's success and brings together finance, procurement, supply chain, logistics, human resources, research and development, service, and sales.

Cloud ERP - Cloud Native Architecture, Innovation & Research is a central team within the Cloud ERP CTO Office, which collaborates with stakeholders from across our development units (e.g. Digital Supply Chain, Procurement, Sustainability etc.) and technology, platform and operations teams. Offering harmonized customer experience across our Cloud ERP solution is at the core of our overall mission. Specifically, our unit is responsible for driving the architecture guidelines, best practices and goverance for Cloud ERP application and operations teams. Focusing on End-to-End development lifecycle, together with BTP (Business Technology Platform) Services, and integration to S/4HANA in the forefront.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are looking for a Cloud Developer that will support solution development and prototyping with cutting-edge Cloud technologies.

• You will contribute to the push for automated deployment within the SAP development landscape into cloud landscapes.
• You also collaborate across the product management, engineering and various other partners who are providing the Cloud technology stack to build the product and/or solutions.
• Learn a broad range of public Cloud services and help our product teams develop scalable, efficient applications to improve product experiences.
• Build, improve, and secure our multi-cloud, multi-tenant environments to be performant and cost efficient.
• Design environments at scale with reliability, performance, availability, and security as a priority.

WHAT YOU BRING

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 4-6 years of experience in software development.
• Handson experience with at least one programming language: Java/Javascript (Node.js).
• Exposure to SAP technologies such as SAP BTP, CDS, CAP, Fiori Elements, and UI5 is a plus. 

• Basic understanding of cloud services, GIT and CI/CD pipelines.

  
  
• You have some high-level experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker and GIT.
• Some experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
• An understanding of DevOps practices and the Cloud Tech stack.
• Some professional Cloud engineering experience.
• Fluency both written and spoken in English.
