Design Engineer Infrastructure Utility Shifting

Job Profile

Utility Shifting for all ASUTP projects. Development of designs and drawings for Utility (Water Supply/ Electrical/ Sewerage/ Telephone) detailing in terms of relocations and rehabilitation.

Also having strong technical leadership analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills to join our project management and Aizawl Sustainable Urban Transport project team.

Main responsibilities include:

• Identification of Utility- services and development of Utility Shifting plans at the identified projects.
• Development of detailed plans for Utility shifting.
• Discussions with the respective Stakeholders for the utility shifting and rehabilitations.
• BoQ for utility shifting and cost estimation in consultation with the service provider.
• Development of Utility Shifting/ rehabilitation for the Projects:
• Skywalk
• Vertical mobility
• Corridor and Junction Improvement.
• Bus and maxi cab terminals (3 nos.)
• Truck terminals (3 nos.)
• City bus depots (6 nos.)
• Coordination with the inter disciplinary teams for the client delivery as per the ToR.
• Development of BoQ and Costing in coordination with the Quantity Surveyor.
• Planning and desi0gning for Utility Shifting would be in an integrated approach that adopts smart growth principles, keeping in mind the future needs, potential impacts of such proposed investments in physical development terms on the surrounding land-use(s) of sub-projects/ project sites, viable new technologies for enhancing efficiency of service delivery and effective coverage; and adopting low-impact development/ green infrastructure principles, as feasible.

Minimum qualification

• Preferably master’s degree
• Experience: preferably 12 Years from master’s degree.
• Industry : Associated in Utility Identification and rehabilitations for the Green Field and Brown field projects. Planning and designing of Townships, smart cities, multilateral funded projects,
• Experience in Utility Mapping and rehabilitation, Master planning and infrastructure planning and Designing at Hill Regions in connection with the Utility planning.
