We are seeking a skilled and experienced ELV & Building Management System (BMS) Design Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the Building Management System (BMS) field. The candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing BMS & ELV systems in alignment with customer requirements while ensuring efficient project execution. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, customers, vendors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Analysis & System Design:
oEngage with customers to understand project specifications and requirements.
oDesign BMS and ELV (Access, Fire, PA, CCTV etc) systems in line with project needs.
oEnsure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Technical Documentation & Approvals:
oPrepare technical datasheets and submit for customer approvals.
oConduct technical meetings with customers to finalize specifications.
oCoordinate with vendors to obtain precise technical specifications for third-party materials.
Project Planning & BOQ Preparation:
oEstimate project requirements and prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
oWork with procurement teams to ensure correct material selection and availability.
Coordination with Teams:
oOrganize meetings with graphic designers and software teams to define the operation philosophy.
oCollaborate with project managers and ensure smooth execution of designs.
Site Visits & Implementation Verification:
oTravel to project sites (minimum 60% travel) to verify system implementation.
oEnsure compliance of actual installation with the approved design.
Software & Documentation Expertise:
oUtilize AutoCAD, EPLAN, and Document Management Systems for preparing layouts and estimating quantities.
oDevelop and maintain As-Built Drawings for project handover.
Value Engineering & Optimization:
oOptimize system design for cost efficiency and performance enhancement.
oIdentify opportunities for value engineering within projects.
Regional Leadership Responsibilities:
oLead the territory engineering efforts across Rest of Maharashtra, Goa, and Madhya Pradesh.
oProvide guidance and technical support to regional teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
•Educational Background: Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
•Experience: Minimum 4 years in ELV and BMS design.
•Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of BMS, ELV systems, AutoCAD, EPLAN, and Document Management Systems.
•Soft Skills: Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
•Mobility: Willingness to travel to various project sites (minimum 40% travel requirement).
•Leadership Ability: Experience in handling multiple projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
