Design Engineer

Join Our Team at Dextra India (French MNC): Seeking a Dynamic Design Engineer for Mumbai location (Marol Andheri East)

Educational Background :
Master or Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering
Structural Engineering (Mechanics, Construction)
Work Experience: 2-5 years experience
ITS skills: 
Standard Office suite.
Computer-Aided Design (CAD): AutoCAD, SolidWorks will be a plus.
Main duties
Create & design the drawing necessary for prototyping and production in order to support company's business plan and its development.
Key Responsibilities
Provide conceptual and final geotechnical design recommendations and related cost estimates for the most appropriate economic and geotechnical solution related to GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Products).
Responsible for the structural design of GFRP for soft-eyes and geotechnical applications, included but not limited to, ground anchor, soil nails, rock bolts, etc. and advising on technical aspects of installation, fixing and erection of temporary structural works.
Investigate and advise on the structural feasibility of the temporary and/or permanent works at design stage and prepare and seek approval for work drawings.
Participate and coordinate with marketing & sales and production in all company's activities in order to improve product quality, Productivity and meet the customer satisfaction.
Prepare technical reports that include final geotechnical design recommendations and unique contract specifications / special provisions.
