Purpose of the job

Responsible for design documentation (Drawings, details, calculation, FEA, calculation) using dedicated tools and in accordance with different construction codes. You will be supporting Shell & Tube engineering dept for structure calculations of Shell &Tube and is expected to work on piping support calculation, load calculation, material requisition for procurement, ladder walkways drgs, nameplate drawings & other deliverables.

Base location: Satara Factory

Roles and Responsibility

• Create Design (Drawings, details, calculation, FEA, calculation).

• Plan, execute and follow up drawings based on contract review/technical specifications.

• Inform/communicate about status of the order to stakeholders.

• Use calculations & drawing tools/Software.

• Validate calculation & technical documentation.

• Archive drawings.

• Develop and maintain the drawing database & tools.

• Participate in project and improvement work.

What you can be?

• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
• Solid experience in mechanical calculations and finite element analysis.
• Proficiency in CAESER for piping support design & ANSYS for performing advanced simulations and static analysis.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word for generating detailed technical reports.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for creating and managing analytical calculation models.
• Ability to propose technical solutions to complex engineering problems.
