Design and implement training programs to address competency gaps and enhance planning team’s capabilities including dispatchers and equipment controller.
Restructuring / re-organize planning function to ensure BUs are future ready.
Continuous Improvement / Lean Implementation
Driver lean implementation in the planning function
Initiate and drive regional Kaizens to promote a culture of continuous improvement in the BUs
Collaborate with terminal planning teams to identify and implement best practices across the region.
Driving enhancements in safety & customer experience enhancements through planning process
Terminal Planning Support
Provide strategic support to terminals on berth, yard, vessel and rail planning and yard strategy development.
Assist in optimizing terminal operations through effective equipment resource planning and process enhancements.
Performance Monitoring
Define, measure, and track key operational metrics across terminals.
Conduct regular follow-ups with terminals to ensure performance targets are met.
Engagement and Communication
Lead weekly engagement drives for collaboration and alignment across terminals.
Act as a bridge between the ROE, GOE and Terminals to address operational challenges.
Carry out process confirmations of critical planning process, post incidents and for improvement.
Technology & Innovation
Lead rollout of Terminal Operating System (TOS), upgrades and enhancements across terminals.
Drive digitalization and innovation projects to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
Partner with IT teams to identify and deploy technology solutions for operational excellence.
