Main responsibilities Develop and design secure Snowflake environments tailored to business needs using Role Based Access Control (RBAC).
Design audit logs and monitoring solutions to track data access and actions within Snowflake.
Lead incident detection and response processes related to security breaches or vulnerabilities within Snowflake.
Stay updated with Snowflake security features and updates.
Collaborate with data architects, IT teams, and external partners to ensure security policies are integrated across the data pipeline.
Report security status, risks, and strategies to stakeholders and leadership. Create design and development documentation based on standards for knowledge transfer, training, and maintenance.
Be flexible and open to take up new tasks and work in the related area.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in designing Applicative Security using RBAC. Strong understanding of database security, encryption algorithms, and authentication protocols.
Technical skills: Experience and strong knowledge of Snowflake Applicative security controls and configurations, experience in designing Applicative security frameworks and governance models, experience in Snowflake. SQL and Hadoop type database knowledge (>3 years), Python experience preferred, ability to see and understand multiple relations between data and metadata objects,
Soft skills: Good presentation and communication skills with a strong attention to detail and listening capacity. In a team spirit mode, with different diverse actors, you have ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You demonstrate capacity to learn new technologies in short amount of time to adapt to changes and answer challenges.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
Languages: Fluency in English is a must to operate in a multicultural environment
