Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. You will perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems (DBMS) and providing input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Ensure the security, availability, and performance of MySQL databases. - Design and implement database solutions based on business requirements. - Perform database administration tasks, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and optimization. - Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks and data integrity. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database systems meet business needs. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in MySQL Database Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Database Administration. - Strong understanding of database concepts and principles. - Experience with database backup and recovery strategies. - Knowledge of database security best practices. - Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in MySQL Database Administration. - This position is based at our Ahmedabad office. - A 15 Years of fulltime education is required.15 Years of fulltime education
