The Data Steward is responsible for providing support around our sales planning process. Your main duties will include customer service to our sales team and data management, cleanup & analysis.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate with sales teams to achieve data clarity, operational excellence and a high level of customer service to our business partners
  • Have a passion and joy for learning more and collaborating with others
  • Resilience and persistence toward problem solving
  • Participate in all aspects of Annual Sales Planning  and work closely with SMEs on ad-hoc requests & projects
  • Familiarity with Key Business Terms, Metrics, Reports, Sales Planning Processes  
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to software & web UIs (D&B, SFDC, Anaplan, MDM/Data Platforms)
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel 
  • Assist IOPs teams and stakeholders needs related to processing through internal systems and processes (SFDC)
  • Participate in process and system improvement if required
  • Work closely with other team members to share knowledge, best practices and facilitate standardization across the whole sales organization.
  • Use professional concepts; apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
  • Maintain the accuracy of customer account information in SFDC and Anaplan
  • Documentation - assist with documentation and training where applicable
  • Data Cleanup - identify data discrepancies and manage review and corrections
  • Process Improvement - analyze root causes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Manage Routine Reviews & Updates - monitor and/or manage regular processes to ensure data is reviewed and updated as appropriate

Requirements:


  • 2+ years experience in Sales Operations, Business Strategy and/or Data Analysis 
  • Bachelor's degree in business or finance
  • Proficiency in SFDC & Anaplan is a plus
  • Familiarity with Reltio is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to collaborate with others
  • Must have a ‘can do’ attitude and have an internal strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results

 


  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
