Your Role and Responsibilities We are looking for enthusiastic & self-motivated Data Scientists to join the IBM Consulting Advantage (ICA) Asset Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building innovative AI-powered solutions that integrate with various systems and applications. You will also be working with the broader team to build, analyse and improve the AI solutions.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
3+ years of professional experience; 1 year of experience in Data Scientist/Engineer role.
Proficient in Python, FastAPI & other Data Analytics Packages.
Good understanding of asynchronous programming, multi-threading, and REST APIs.
Experience in using large language models programmatically or frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Watson Orchestrate for enhanced decision-making and workflow automation.
Experience working on LLMs, Model Training & Evaluation, Performance Benchmarking.
Practical experience with container technologies such as Podman, Docker or Kubernetes.
