Responsibilities:
- Accountable for monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and/or evaluating processes and data to ensure their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
- Interprets data and makes recommendations
- Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures, or practices
- Participate in data quality resolution and data improvement initiatives
- Drive data quality investigation processes and document system lineage
- Present information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity
- Driving change management to implement data quality controls
- Report Data Quality defects through the Data Concern Remediation Management process
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
- 3-8 years of relevant experience
- Experience in Banking industry or knowledge of banking products & processes preferred
- Working knowledge of Data Governance industry standard tools
- Experience with basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Flexible, team-oriented, and good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
